a few weeks ago you posted that you were looking into a 25 x 12 fmic from cxracing.com . I'd really like to hear how your fmic project is going/went . I've been looking into one for my 88 spg and have had a hell of a time figuring what would fit from the ones I've found on the internet . there are plenty on ebay and elsewhere , but they are all to long or to short . the one mentioned above has an 18 inch core and the total length is 25 . this seems like it would be very close , but might not have enough space because of the lights or bumper bracket bolts . if the core were 2 inches shorter I'm sure it would fit . I wish there was an easier way to judge fit other than buiding a mockup . the next shortest core down from this that I have found is 12 inches ( 12 x 12 core ) and I want something longer . a 16" length core would be perfect , but I can't find one anywhere .
