Hi,
I used to drive an '03 9-5 Aero Wagon with auto transmission. It went through gradual change from stock to 330 hp MapTun stage 5.
My experience is that the biggest change in shifting came from upgrading the TCM software to the latest available version, together with a proper flush/change of transmission fluid.
Shifting was always smooth, even under power, except for short periods after disconnecting the battery, which made adaptation occur for a while.
Please make sure to get a good software, adapted to automatic transmissions. If uncertain, stay under 400 Nm. 420-440 Nm is OK if you are completely sure that the software is well programmed.
Best regards,
KK
