lightened flywheel does give better engine reponse. as far as off the line, kind of a trade off. w/ heavier flywheel your engine will be more likely to take the load of the weight of the car as soon as you release the clutch w/out bogging down, but once accelerating, won't rev up as quickly as lighter one. the lighter one will run up quicker. once the clutch is set, you'll want the lighter one. car feels lighter on accel. as long as you add gas when you let off the clutch, there won't be a problem. just my two cents.
