87 900T brakes for HPDE/School

Anyone use the 87 900T (vented) calipers and rotors with agressive pads for HPDE type events? I know swapping to the 88+ brakes rear brakes with the 9000 brakes up front would be better, but I have a lot of wheels for the older hub bolt pattern. I'm just in the preliminary stages of figuring out what I need to set the car up for track use, so I figure I'd ask what anyone else has done. Thanks!
