I was doing 130 km/h today on highway in my 81' 911 turbo when some guy with a bike who was driving behind me pulled aggresivly to left and started to accelerate. I was a bit interested to find out how i would fare in comparision to a bike, so i downshifted in 3:rd (thing has 4-gear tranny, remeber) and floored it. The agricultural KKK turbo started to whine and off i went with a bike maybe 5 meters behind me. Unfortunately my frigging external wastegate is bad , so car boosted past 1.2 bar and hit the overboost switch and almost sent me trough windscreen...(boost should be 0.8 bar)
The MC guy then went around and gave me a thumb up. Dunno what bike it was, it was red and had open engine (aircooled?)
Anybody knows anything about external wastegates??
OK, so it isn't SAAB but it's fun anyway :)
How do i post pictures , BTW?
