Last night, we were lined up a traffic lights - first a small Japanese car, maybe a Corolla, a Porsche 911 Turbo (not sure if it was a 993 or 996) and an Aston Martin (model unsure).
When the lights turned, the 1st car hogged the lane and the rest of us could not pass because of traffic. However, when we were travelling at about 60 kmh, the 1st car filtered to the side. Then all hell broke loose - the 911 turned up the power, with the Aston and me behind. I kept up all the way when we reached speeds of about 120 kmh (yeah, it is not much, but it is a suburban road). THe 911 was always in front, with me at the back, 2 or 3 car lengths behind the Aston. Unfortunately, after only about slightly over a km, it was another red light, when we went our separate ways. Great to know I can keep up with 2 supercars up to 120 kmh, at least.
[side bar- Aston Martin - British make, V-12 with 420 hp, and V-8 with 550 hp (higher, I know). If don't know what one looks like, look at Jennifer Lopez's recent video, My Love Don't Cost A Thing (ha!).
Porshe Turbo 991 (996) - 420 hp.
My Saab 1995 9000 CDE Full turbo, Broquet in line fuel catalyst, Turbosmart blow off valve, changed ECU, tuned to estimated 250 hp]
