Okay, I didn't want to upgrade the turbo. My stock one just did eat oil a lot so it's time to change. Couldn't find the stock T25 around, so my indy put in the GT28RS with A/R0.60 & 0.64.
Question : Could I run the car with the stock ECU on this turbo ? I have operate the car for above 1K miles and found no faults nor problems. The car spool up later than the stock turbo (not much), but pull much harder at time the turbo kicks in.
My indy recommend to go for a bigger injector or crush the FPR a little to compensate much higher flow of this turbo. Do I need to do so? Any other recommend? I don't want to pay $$$ for a tuned ECU 'coz the car is not much in a very good condition (250K miles on the clock) and it's A/T so I don't think it could handle those extra power.
The car is '94CSE 2.3 T5 A/T 200hp bonestock, oh , just 3" DP.
Thanks in advance guys,
Roy in Snellville,GA
