90 SPG - slight oil consumption

Hey gang -- 90 SPG, 185hp red box, 3.0fpr, slightly cranked the red box so boosts 1/2 way solidly into the red.
History: Last oil change time I was a quart down after 3K miles. Hmm. Duly noted. I seafoamed at that time and now have gone about 2000 miles since that oil change, I checked oil on a road trip this weekend and was slightly more than a quart down (!!!). As in below the min line on the dipstick. I was driving at very high speeds for about 2 hours solid. Car is smooth, boosts perfectly, no oil leaks external anywhwere, no blue/black/white smoke on decel, acceleration, idle, etc. Sometimes I notice in the AM after starting that the first time I give it gas there's a small puff of blueish/blackish smoke.
Only have had this car about 6 mos... 205K on car, engine completely rebuilt 45K miles ago by PO (very good job from what i can tell), I've put approx 4500 miles on the car since then.
Any ideas? I thought valve stem seals, or maybe that i'm running rich and somehow that consumes oil.
I'm not overly worried about this but it strikes me as odd as this is my 4th 16v Turbo and no other one has ever burned any appreciable oil.
