in smoothness of power. new turbo engine w/about 6500 miles on it. added msd btm last week and had some problems, too much retard. plugged stock vacuum advance on dist and ran better, but still a little off. bent stop inside dist so it only allows advance, no retard. now all retard is done w/btm, much better. to top it off, added older style (group6) rrfpr. huge difference. power transition is smooth, so linear. have bigger turbo and ported head and had been having problems with surges, flat spots, etc. throughout rpm and boost range. now, they appear to be all gone. i am now boosting up to solid 20 psi before i back of a little. had to be careful on the on ramp, a little wet and broke the front wheels loose in 3rd on my trial run. haven't fully dialed it in, but the rrfpr made an imense difference. seems to have brought it all together. probably not a big deal on it's own, but with everything else, it's just plain puss... :)
