At real high rpm's the stock hydro lifters might also float so check out your alternatives with solids or perhaps better hydros. As theother ryan said get stiffer valve springs and see if you can find a double valve spring set that will fit. You will also want to have everything balanced (Crank, rods, pistons) and get any moving parts as light as possible, forged pistons... the list goes on. Call SD and ask them how they got to 8000RPM's then go take a loan out to pay for it.
