I've had outstanding results with the Stage II Kit from Snow Performance. Very well thought out kit that has the controller wired to the MAF sensor on my 1990 9000T.
The best way to explain what takes place is its compable to running 118 octane fuel. You can run more boost aand more timing as the water methanol mix creates a cooler denser charge. Its one of the few modifications that is "good for the engine as a cooler charge means lower temps in the combustion chamber and virtually no sludge and carbon build up.
