T5Boost4 vs. 3BarMapSensor

Just wonder what is the real different between the T5Boost4 & the 3 Bar Map Sensor ?
From my understanding, both basically raise the max. boost level to more limit (20% on T5Boost4, 33% on 3 bar map) for T5. Both doesn't account for more fuel to the system by just plug itself in...
So what is the real benefit of paying more $$$ to have the T5boost4 and not have just the 3 bar map? You will need to put in more fuel yourself in anyway... aint it?
Please advice!
