Tool for Head Bolts

What is the socket for the head bolts on a 88 900SPG? they look like a torx head reversed. I used a 13mm impact socket to remove them and it worked fine but i would like to get the right tool for reassembly and torquing. Also, i purchased a new timing chain which came with the master link apart. It does not have a retaining clip like a bike chain and the female plate looks like it requires a press to install it to link the chain together. Is there a tool for that also, or how should I go about that?
