Terry's point is exactly why I went with more torque and hp on my ng900 tranny instead of the 9000 aero. Having the torque and power hit up higher in the rpm band definetely seems to help and rolling into the throttle and not going wot at 2500rpm and waiting for the turbo to explode is a big help.
Terry I was wondering if you have thought about trying to limit the turbo and torque some so that it does not hit so hard and fierce? Those torque numbers you posted are obsene! :-) We all like to feel the montrous power and torque, but maybe haveing it hit a little later in the rpm band would help to keep your trannies alive a little longer.
I am sure you have thought about this, just curious if you have tried to have your tuner do that, limit the torque until later in the rpm band?
