My experience with Saab big bore throttle bodies is that they're not the best (single) performance upgrade you can make, at least an original one bored out. They're 55mm to start with and they can only be safely be bored to 58.67 which is what mine are with my 7 degree butterfly which helps some as well. Did Watson mention what size the Weber ones are? Brad (kcsaab) recently built an 8 valve engine for Claude Hutchings Jr. that makes 220 HP and it's not even a turbo. There's a lot that can be done with the CIS so maybe give Brad a call? The biggest single upgrade I've found for an 8 valve 900T is one of Erik P's modified APC's especially if he is able to get an '85 one (that fits your car) to the '86 up Stage II spec! To get 300 HP you would need a special turbo with a larger compressor wheel. Anyway what are you running for a turbo? Dave
