While I agree with your observation that toe settings are sometimes unique to driving style/preference, the lowered suspension is now at a different point in the camber/toe progression than it was at stock ride height (it should be toeing in faster with compression, and cambering negatively faster), so an alignment that is different from what is preferable at stock ride height might feel exactly the same. Using the same alignment as at stock ride height might even be unpreferred, or cause tire wear issues.
That being said, with street alignments (1-3mm toe, 0.5*-1.5* negative camber, etc) are so small that the difference might be trivial.
I would see what Abbott says, and I would very curiously ask where their numbers came from.
