Installed Jak's 3" stainless DP this summer. After 3 drive cycles, I get a CEL. Cleared CEL numerous times by disconnecting battery. Had Indy with Saab tech 2 check CEL. Code was "(rear 02 sensor short to ground)" Replaced rear 02 sensor with new one from Europarts. (always great fast service those guys), 3 drive cycles, same issue. Purchased Autoenginuity Scantool to run on laptop in hopes it would help me clear up the problem, or at least point me in the right direction. Also figured it was a good investment to help keep 3 Saabs and 2 pickups going.

Here's the specs. I'm getting off the Aero, and for comparison, the one's I'm getting off my '97 CSE work car.

Aero
P140 02 sensor no activity detected Bank 1 Sensor 2
B1S1 02 output volts .31-.82
B1S2 02 output volts .005-.01
B1S1 02 sensor short term fuel trim 3.9-7.8
B1S1 02 sensor short term fuel trim 99.06
Short term fuel trim bank 1 2.34-7.8
Long term 11.7
OBD test results: ("The catalyst and evaprotive monitors are difficult to set to complete.")

'97 CSE
B1S102 output volts .075-.76
B1s202 output volts .17-.725
B1S1 fuel trim .78-2.34
B1S2 Fuel trim 99.06
Short term fuel trim bank 1 .78-3.12
long term 24.18

CSE is an auto and runs perfectly after a new front 02 sensor and a complete 200,000 mile service. Going for 300,000 and fully expect to get it if the trannie holds out.

Aero is a 5 spd with SD 2.5" cat back and Jak's DP and Intercooler, open K&N and SQR stage 2 ECU. 93,000 miles, close to cherry, not run in winter, and awaiting a Stage IV from someone once I get this little issue cleared up.

When installing the DP, I did quite a bit of twisting/stretching on the front O2 sensor(dumb) to get it uninstalled and re-installed. The rear, I had no such issues with the new sensor. Is it possible that something broke, stertched, shorted in the front 02 so it can't comminicate with the rear or the ECU? I can't believe anything could have happened to the new rear 02 during insallation, it was too easy.

Can somebody help me??
