Well, if 300 Hp is the limit for the 9-5 slushbox then I am right on it.
It is fairly well agreed the 5 speed slushbox ( 2002+) is stronger than the 4 speed 1999-2001.
My 99 9-5 4 speed slushbox has been tuned to just under 300 hp ( Jak Stoll stage 4) for over a year without any problems to date.
I think there is is a running bet with some of the Techs as to how long my slushbox will hold up. If my tranny fails - I will teardown & photo the remains to give some insight on failure points.
20,000 miles on current tune and running (112,000 on car).
I also decided to use B&M synthethic tranny oil (against most advice) & drain & fill every second oil change.
Again personal opinion here - I use the power often but try to be as smooth on/off the gas & try to not spin one wheel on corners etc. Not sure exactly the weakest part of the slushbox but I suspect it might be the differential.
