Jak tuned my 2001 9-3 base with the TD04 and I've been dealing with a problem for a few months now...After replacing many parts AMM, CAT, 2x BPC's, 2x DI's, Fuel filter, about 10 sets of pugs gapped at .38...and parts I'm sure...I took it up to Jak when the problem had started and he thought it was resolved but it's gotten worse...

The problem and my limited knowledge in troubleshooting:

I get massive over boost...Like 30+psi...Would probably go higher but I've never tested it...So initially it gets that boost and then sits around 10psi after driving for about 15 mins...Turbo glows like lava...Now I'm running with the compressor hose going directly into the turbo that creates base boost I've read and appears to be a good temporary fix so I can at least get the car to work and back...All the vac lines and check valves seem to be working...

When the problem began I was getting 14psi solid compared to the 18psi I was getting with the same ECU prior this issue...

So I was loosing boost and now it goes way over and then dies...Interestingly even when it goes way into the boost it doesn't have any power...Where before I would get power intermittently...the boost just goes through the roof now...When I run it with the bpc in line and stop driving the bpc and hoses are very very hot...Never checked that before but thought that might help with the diagnosis...

So it appears the turbo is capable of producing boost, too much, but that power doesn't make it to the wheels and the boost dies after a few min...Jak did alot of testing with this car being his first t7...He had it very stable at about 245whp and 275 wtq with 18psi but he wanted to try and produce more power and did manage to hit 261whp and 320 wtq on the dyno but was very intermittent when things started to go south...

Thanks in advance...
