I have heard the metal or copper head gaskets are much tougher to get to seal than the oe gaskets, but if you can get them to seal, they hold up nice.
I have been running the stock oe head-gasket on my ng900 and 9000 and have pushed 30+ psi for over a year with no head gasket issues. I think the oe head gasket will stand up to more than people know. I know of one tuner who has pushed the oe head- gasket past 40+ psi with no failures!
I thought of trying the copper one, but after hearing and seeing what people can do with the stock oe one... I just stuck with it and after about 2 years of 30+ psi, my head gasket looked great. I tore it down to add je forged pistons so I can run some nitrous... The head gasket was in great shape and showed no signs of failure. On that note, the right coolant has a lot to do with how long your head gasket will last! Townsand and others recommend the mercedes benz coolant and that is what I run now. It basically cut all their wp and head-gaskets jobs down to nill...
