On further, altho most people agree that it will not throw a CEL (that is taking the second cat out), I have decided to keep it in, eliminate the resonator and just put SS pipe and SS Bosal muffler at a custom shop for about $450. Btw, there is a company called Aero, that makes nice SS tips...which have Aero printed on the tip. Part #ST2535.

I think Saab put the second cat for a reason, the first cat is what they call a pre-cat (that warms up quickly due to its proximity to the exhaust manifold) and the second is the main cat. Anyways, even if doesnt throw a CEL, I feel uncomfy driving around putting crap in the environment and it is also illegal to remove the cat.

Yea, it looks like a good idea and I think there will be good performance gain, but for now just a SS catback w muffler, no need for resonator, I think. Hopefully its not too loud.
