Have you checked the prices? There is quite a few guys running the gt3071wg.64ar on the 9k and from what I hear, it will bolt right up on the stock manifold. The turbos are about 1250.00 from atp turbo.
You could also run a 1/2" spacer on the exhaust manifold if you had clearance issues, but I have seen this turbo on the stock manifold on a 9k without them, I have even seen a gt3076 on one and that is my goal one day :-)

All you need to do then is either tweek the stock coolant lines to fit or buy some nice braided stainless lines from atp. You will need a 4an oil line and restrictor to lower the oil pressure. Once you get that done, you will need to have the dp modified to fit onto the gt 5bolt turbine housing. You will then need larger seimans 60# injectors to support the hp and a larger ic and maybe a intake, high flow cat, 3" full exhaust.
You will also need a decent clutch to hold all that torque!

I run this set-up on a 9k 2.3 motor in my ng900 and its a rocket sled. Many tuners can provide the sw to run that set-up, its pretty common these days. SQR, JSP, NORDIC and Maptun can all proved sw for that set-up.
