These are great cars to get power out of and you are right that you should check it all out, flush all the fluids and pull the oil pan and check and clean the oil pick-up screen to be safe on you're oil pressure before you start hitting her with boost!

Making power 101, "let the motor breath"! A nice 3" intake, 3"dp and high flow cat along with a full 3" exhuast would be a good start along with a decent ic, at least a viggen cross flow ic or better yet a nice bar and plate ic from Jak or ETS or Mp or a Forge from Nick.

Now that you have all that done, its time to add the sw and that means a tuned ecu from Jak or one of the other tuners. These trionic 5 cars are fairly easy to tune, but it has to be done in the ecu by doing a re-flash.
This will eliminate the fuel cut at 15psi and give you some more boost.

There is the mbc option, but that only allows boost up to 15psi and then you hit fuel cut. If you want 17-20psi, the tuned ecu is the way to go and the better you're hw, the better the sw will perform :-)

Most stage 3's are intake, 3"exhaust and at least a viggen ic and the tuned sw.

After that its clutch, larger fuel injectors, maybe a turbo upgrade, larger 2.5" delivery pipe with 2.5"tb elbow, a nice big bar and plate ic that flows well. You could then be in the 280whp and 350wtrq range.

I have mine now at the stage 6 level with a nice gt3071r .86ar, spec stage 3 clutch disk and viggen PP, 60# seimans injectors, w/m injection, huge ets ic, 3" intake, 2.5" ic pipe from turbo to ic and ic to intake. Better greddy style bov and a good tune from Jak.

I probably make 340whp and 400wtrq at 6000' in Denver. My car lit the tires up today at 70mph in third gear, that is a rush!

Welcome to the wonderful world of saab tuning! Good Luck,

John
