Hi Drew, I just called David recently to see how you guys were doing? I collect factory replacement 2.1 blocks that supposedly have the same material as the early 2.0 blocks do. I keep meaning to check the cylinder wall thickness on my 2.1 blocks so this will remind me to! It is correct that large over bores (depending on the original cylinder wall thickness) do produce less HP and in a turbo application could also cause a catastrophic engine failure. If a 2.1 block was bored to +.060 the displacement would be 2.5 with a 2.3 crank, maybe I'll have some high nickel sleeves furnace brazed in so I can build a slant 2.5 for the Talladega. Stay warm, Dave
