for the "Classic Le Mans" meeting - almost guaranteed to be a Saab-free zone but if anyone is there and cares to track me down I'll be based at the AC Owners Club section, as passenger in a burgundy Ace-Bristol (probably with hard-top fitted in view of the weather forecast). I'm 6'1", 210 pounds, 60 and grey, probably in a blue Timberland coat.

This biennial event is amazing and is the perfect excuse to avoid the Festival of Speed at Goodwood which takes place the same weekend. We - the AC lot - mostly do it on the cheap, unlike the Aston Martin crowd next door who are permanently fuelled on Dom Perignon. Club tickets are only about 35 Euros for the whole weekend! French organisation satisfyingly and endearingly chaotic but it all works in the end.
