In my opinion, pure methonal mixed 50/50 with distilled water is very important to get the best results.
I have been running w/m injection for a couple of years now in my current 512whp sae in Denver ng900. I tested on the dyno and the "good" washer fluid with high methonal is still only about 35% methonal! My test on the dyno showed little to no advantage with good washer fluid.
I then got racing or 99.97% racing methonal from my local speed shop and tested that on the same dyno and with no sw changes got an increase of 39wtrq, but only 2whp. Its known to give more of a torque gain than peak hp gain, but with timing changes, more power can be abstracted and of course you have much better IC from the chemical IC, w/m.
Since my test, I do not run anything but good pure methonal with distilled water, the washer fluid has some additives that can clog up the nozzle over time and not sure how it effects the motor. Some claim no ill effects, but clogged injector.
You can order boost juice from snowperformance.net for good pure methonal mix. Most recommend placing the nozzle within 5" of the TB.
