I have a 1988 900 turbo with a jak stoll apc and upgraded turbo, the car boosts into the middle of the red then hits the fuel cut off. I was told by the PO that the car is set to boost to around 18psi, it is my understanding that the cut off kicks in around 15psi. My question is can I simply change an APC setting or do I need to install a manual boost controller? I am not set on being able to boost to 18psi, but I would like be able to accelerate without feathering the throttle.
On a separate note does a Blow off valve do anything for performance other than make cool noises?
