Aerodyte downpipe installed on my 9k Aero

After a 3 week wait, I finally got it installed yesterday with the help of Barry himself.
I have been looking for a well thought out solution that *must guarantee not to* throw the dreaded Check Engine Light, and Aerodyte's solution fit the bill. Icing on the cake was ease of installation and upgradability to GT3071 flange with just an "interface" change. Barry is local, and that certainly helps.
While I would have preferred a Stainless Steel option (which I hear would be coming), the Norcal weather would probably spare the mild steel used.
The install took a bit more than anticipated. After all, my car had 155K on the clock and things were a bit more seized than normal. Compound that with a missing Cat bracket and we really started to think twice if we should press on. We eventually used some fuel tubing and wire to hold it up while I wait for the part to arrive.
Well, 4 hours and lots of WD40 later, we took it out to the nearly deserted road. Boost on my stock TD04 is now instantaneous, and 24 hours later, still rocketing on. Very nice.
Highly recommended upgrade whether or not you will be going Stage 3 and beyond, and the v-band clamps make it a snap to install. Most of all, it was an absolutely perfect fit right down to the last mm.
Let me know if you want pics of the install.
[Dave, you'll see it in person when I come down Thursday]
