Hey Paul - Like Nick said, it's tough finding a pad that you can run on the track and on the street. Most track pads work better when they've been heated up a bit, while the opposite is true for 'street' pads. MOST ceramic 'street' pads have a great feel/low dust operation with strong stopping power, until you start to heat them up, then they fade like crazy. I have ceramics on the 85 900t w/stainless brake lines, and get a great pedal feel but under heavy/repetitive use they do start to lose their efficiency. You're best bet is to swap out for track days, or do a little experimenting. I've heard a lot of good things about Hawk pads as a decent compromise between street/track use. Be interested to hear if you do decide to mix up the pads per Nick's suggestion - keep us posted.
