I'm in Europe too (if the UK counts!) No idea how many people here actually use EBC pads.
What you're proposing is a bit different from my own experience - I fitted Green stuff pads and found then harsh, grabby, noisy and short-lived. They also seemed to produce just as much dust and "ordinary" pads. But time has moved on (my trial was about 9 years ago) and you're looking at Red stuff anyway, on a faster car.
I now use Ferodo DS2500 pads on my 200bhp 9000 and have nothing but praise for them, though they do need a little grinding modification to the backplate to fit. I fit plain vanilla Brembo rotors. But you will find plenty of other recommendations here!
I never know how much work the rear brakes actually do on our cars (not saying they do nothing, just that they last a lot longer than the fronts).
Whatever you buy it would be nice to hear back from you after you've put some miles on them.
