Hey all,
I have a 2001, 9-3 base T7, TD04 Swap, etc. (All the basics needed for a stage 4). I have had this setup for a while and never "tuned" the car. However, recently with the tunes being so cheap I had one done. I purchased the tune off of a guy who used to be a distributor for Nordic in Boston. So far I am not really impressed.
The car definitely runs different. At the low end I find that I have less trq than the car did with the stock ECU. on the high end the car pulls maybe a little harder, but so little that I'm not sure there is a difference.
Basically the boost seems to die right about mid yellow on the boost gauge and stays pinned there. I have not even touched the red of the gauge.
Under hard acceleration I can hear a whoosing sound coming from under the hood like the wastegate is venting all my boost.
I am really distraught. Do I need to adjust any hardware or is my tune garbage?
Thanks for reading
