What turbo do you have now? What other changes (engine and otherwise, software, etc).
Generally the Saab crowd does not get big into changing the turbos, there isn't much clearance with stock radiator fans, A/C, etc, plus usually requires custom lines which can be expensive.
You can make plenty of power with the stock turbo for quite a while unless you are building a drag car, or a dyno queen. It depends on your preferences and goals for the car.
GT17 is not an upgrade, it's little tiny, and came on the non-Aero 9-5's. TD-04's are great for midrange power and throttle response and can support 280-ish wheel HP, GT28 will require custom lines and downpipe and other things, and for the cost is probably a little small if you're going to that expense. Something from Garrett's GT32 line or GT35 line would be more worth the money, but still only able to give mid-400-WHP.
Best,
Drew
