I would stay away from cross drilled rotors. Just weakens the rotors with no real benefit.
I've heard good things about porterfield R4S pads, but have no experience with them myself. I'm *very* happy with Brembo stock rotors and Ferodo DS2500 pads - larger than stock size. You can fit the model made for the Ferrari 308, Porsche 928 and old BMW M3. The pad area is supposed to be about 20-25% larger than stock and fit when you grind a tiny bit off the backing plate.
Just remember to also grind a chamfer on the leading and trailing edge of the pads and use a good anti-squeal paste like ATE plastilube or you will get brake squeal!! (been there, done that..)
The braking and wear performance with these pads are excellent! Bill Davies on the board here deserves credit for spreading the word on them. I'll try to find the part number, I think it's PH256 or something like that.
