Ran into this on a buddies car that I was installing it on.

Definitely did not drop straight in place as it was designed to do. It is certainly to tall to fit between the receiver/dryer assembly and the oil cooler which then lead to problems getting the cold side hose on and ultimately the bumper back on.

I probably spent an extra hour on it over what should have taken me at most 45 minutes.

Solution was to wedge it as tight as I could. Unbolt the cold side hose from the top and move it, the portion with the worm gear clamp, forward past the plastic air guide panels and bolt in place then re-attaching the top. Didn't run into issues on the hot side near as much. Getting the bumper bolted back on was the worst part since I still had a 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch off alignment with the driver side bolt.

I told him I hope it, the bumper, never has to come off again. So while it may be cheaper then the Forge unit it really isn't worth it unless they take care of that issue.
