I personally think you might expect a 5 bhp improvement, up to perhaps 10 bhp from a full turbo-back system including cat. I did a dyno run at the time but not a "before and after" so it's not really relevant.
That's not the full story, however. When fitting such a system to a 1993 2.3 fpt automatic some years back, I found it made the car much nicer to drive, more flexible with less turbo lag - it worked very well with the auto transmission. Also, as I'm sure you know, adding a 3" exhaust will mean you get increased improvements from ECU upgrades. And take great care with installation, including substituting band clamps for the U-bolts supplied if you don't want to be chasing down leaks at the joints.
Finally, my JT was 3" all the way but from reading recent comments on the board I'm wondering if they now come with a 2½" bend at the beginning, then go to 3" after that. Worth checking out if you can.
1997 2.3 fpt Anniversary automatic, Aero suspension & wheels.
