1. I have had no problems with valve floating on my Stage 4 9000.
2. I don't think it would hurt to put cams in. But, at this point I don't think it's going to help either. I would suggest putting a bigger intercooler in. Are you planning on continuing to upgrade? If you are planning on going for a Stage 5 or 6 in the near future than it might be a good idea to put the cams in while you are already in there. So, either way I would do the intercooler. Up to you if you need cams yet or not. I have the ETS(works and fits great).
Just something to think about...I would not suggest going to Stage 4 SQR. I couple people in the past couple months have had pistons melt with that. Stick with Stage 3, or go all in for a Stage 5+. But, just my opinion. Good luck.
