I have an 88 spg. I have modified the apc only by turning the pots. I have rrfpr, k&n filter with large intercooler pipes, silicone vacuum lines, all the right ignition parts(stock)except magnecore wires. This car has 140,000 miles and runs great. I have an automter boost gauge which shows me that i boost until 14.5 on good days which is when the fuel pump cuts out. Meaning right gas, temp, etc. It will sustain around 11. I'm always reading about people boosting up around 18 or even 20 and even more. I'm sure if i get a spg group 2 apc that i too will boost that high. Is there realy a big difference in acceleration, hp, torque etc when boosting an extra 4 or 5 psi. When these modified boxes are installed, do people go wow what a difference? Will I be saying: my lord what a difference or is it very subtle.
thanks
