So for this week in cincinnati it's been 95+ degrees (today 100) and I've been noticing some issues with my NORDIC tuned 1999 2.3lpt stage 3+ auto....

It drives fine under lower boost but when at WOT and full boost above 5000rpms (roughly 20psi) it bogs down like seems to misfire heavily. At first thought it was detination but I hear no pinging or KNOCK sounds. Then I thought maybe the bypass valve or wastegate had been leaking but I noticed it stays at full boost (actually was at about 24psi and steady but misfiring) So I called Nick at GENUINEsaab for advice, He said that it sounds like a spark plug heat rating issue and that I was probably running the factory plug which he said was a NGKBCPR6ES - 11 and that I should drop the the NGKBCPR7ES which does not exist anymore (called NGK DIRECT) it's now a NGKBCPR7ES - 11 (the 11 representing a 1.1mm gap) which should be just regapped to 1.0mm-.9mm (explained by NGK tech). But the catch is my 1999 manual already called for this plug and its already installed. It maybe at the 1.1mm gap or I might of adjusted it to the .9mm, i'm not sure its been a couple months. So when I called Nick back at Genuinesaab he told me it has to be the 7 heat rating and that the -11 plug is still wrong....

My issue is that the NGK tech said the saab calls for the plug thats in the car now the NGKBCPR7ES-11 and since i've moddified I should go all the way down to the BCR8ES plug which is even colder but (NGK SAID THAT PLUG DOESN'T EVEN EXIST ANYMORE EITHER!!!! SO TO USE A DENSO IQ24)

I know the common point don't go with anything but original NGK resistor plugs...so any advice????? can i use denso? can i use iriduim tips? should I go to a 8 heat rating plug or am I missing another possible reason for this top end loss of power.
