We had a blast this weekend and got my Saab ng900 out for its 4th pass this season to run on Pinks All Out and the car was running very well for a mile high elevation. We ended up getting into the top 32 and have a video of me beating a nice modded Corvette Z-06 and actually bumped him out of the top 32 and into an alternate. We also raced a local rivalry with a modded Sonnett with 9k 2.0 motor and Ford auto trans and 9" rear end and beat him by 4 cars. It was a good day :-)
I got an interview with Wille B. and then got some more exposure as we bumped the Vette out of the running and got some more footage of me and the car and some inside car foot work.
We ended up getting into the top 32, but there was a catch 22, if we ran fast enough to win the next heat and advance, we would be eliminated for not being able to pass ET tech, 11.49 and no roll cage. If we ran slow enough to be legal, 11.50, we would surely lose the heat and be eliminated. We got kicked out for being too fast on Pinks All Out in our Saab 900. It got lots of attention and it was a great day,
