I am the reincarnation of, er, Hector Rebaque. As Fred said, it is a small improvement, and sometimes people make outrageous claims for little things. I can tell you one little thing that made a significant difference to my car was installing one poly bushing in the upper motor mount. It made the gearshift feel significantly better. Don't do both upper motor mounts in poly though; it will make your car vibrate like a Massey-Ferguson.
