probably move it there.
1) Check the connections at the starter and grounds to make sure those are tight.
2) Try tapping the starter solenoid with a hammer, a 2x2 piece of wood, or a large screwdriver. It may be sticking in the cold and not engaging the starter. This is the most common problem when your car clicks but fails to start. Usually solenoid issue.
3) It's possibly the ignition switch electrical part, again, check the wires and connections.
4) It's possible it's the actual mechanical switch mechanism itself, depending on how worn your key is or how sloppy the fit of the key is.
5) Is the ignition switch returning to the run position from the starting position? It's not stuck between the two positions is it?
If it happens again tomorrow, try it with the fresh battery, and have a helper crank it while you tap starter solenoid. See if that gets you going.
While you are checking wires, also check your alternator ground wire. It probably doesn't have anything to do with your issue, but your battery will not charge if it is broken or loose. Just in case your battery was weak and not from the cold.
Hope this helps. I'm sure others will chime in as well.
Mark :-)
