Late night and nothing to show for it!

This is more of a small venting session. Up until 2:30am last night putting on my new yellow intake manifold, and Big bore throttle body.
I was trying to get it all on there for a big trip today. Also hoping to get a couple more horses out of the engine with the yellow!
If any of you buy a powder coated intake, be sure to buy a good tap and die set. upto at least 14mm size taps. Every hole needs to be gone through because the powder adds enough material to screw up the holes.
After 4 hours of work, the intake manifold gasket didn't hold. After starting the car, a nice, huge cloud of white smoke comes out of the exhaust. That was after I spent 2 hours trying to figure out why the damn car wouldn't start. Dad figured that one out this morning! It's hard to get a good ground when there is powder coating covering the metal!
Now I can't drive the car this weekend because I gotta leave this afternoon. I guess it'll have to wait until Tuesday! At least it looks pretty good.
