If I believe your othe post from a few days ago, you said that the stock car now has a gap of roughly 2.5-2.75 inches. Is this correct? I think I remember that being true. Either how, even if you dropped the car on inch or just over that I still think that the stock struts/shocks would work just fine. I know what other think/say and that's cool. The whole Bilstein thuff would for sure keep the "rubbing demons" at bay however, they also make the car ride prtty firm as well. I had them before on a 96 Jetta GLX and that car was dropped 1 1/2 inches using Intrax springs. I wasn't happy with the outcome considering I had just spent $3 hundred for spring, $5 hundred for Bilsteins aand another $3 hundred for the work done. I took those things off after a few short weeks and reinstalled the original OEM shocks/struts (SACHS) and the car was fine from that point on. Alot of the Honda boys screw there cars up(and it's nice ride)because they don't even bother to buy new spring at all, let alone struts/shocks. They either cut or heat sag the OEM springs, along with leaving everything else OEM. Then you see them driving around with the car looking, riding like crap. They get the whole hopping up and down thing as they go down the street. You are buying NEW springs (good job) as this will prevent that crap above that I just mentioned. Your car should still ride as smooth as stock because your keeping the OEM struts/shocks, it will handle better, and look sportier because of these NEW springs. This is what you want.
