O.K. So, all of us using larger injector needed to adjust the AMM in order for the car to run correctly. This was required because the larger injectors increased the amount of fuel going into the engine. The AMM needs adjusting so that the amount of AIR can also be closely matched this new fuel. The engine would run RICH and have a LUMPY idle otherwise. The screen removal is really not big of a deal it terms of how the car will run. I took mine off a few months back and didn't really notice any improvements. The thought behind this exercise is that the AIR will now travel more freely/lees obstructed thouugh the unit. Therefore without the obstructions from the screens,the unit will see more/better airflow. This is supposed to help with performance. At best I'd say another 1 HP.
