Can you supply any other observations? How far into the red does your boost gauge go and for how long? If the gauge only runs up a little more than half way thru the yellow, you are only getting base boost and this can be caused by many things. Run a few tanks of the best gas you can buy and see if the condition improves. Check the plugs, too. There are many things that could cause this.
Search this forum and the 9000 forum for "base boost" and "trionic" links. Next, go to <http://216.78.173.190/turbo_folder/turbo_apc_docs.htm> for testing tips. Another idea is to buy the official manual 2:7 Engine Management System Trionic; it is full of diagnostic info.
BTW my 94 Aero in base boost runs away from my 87 9kT.
