I have an 88 SPG. I've never done the conversion, but I am just completing an engine install, so I've been over my engine quite a bit.
You'll need a new lower rad hose. This has an extra line for the what I think is the water return. There's also a banjo bolt, a couple of copper seals, that come off the head to the turbo. You'll need this water line too, of course. That banjo bolt actually goes into the intake manifold, and it should be ready to plug in, I think. Exhaust manifolds are all the same on 16vTs I'm pretty sure.
Good luck! It can be a bit of a pain to line up the water lines, especially on the centre section of the turbo itself. When frustrated, have a beer, rest, then go back at it! :)
