I just got back from the Viggen Flight Academy and the Saab Product Manager had this to say about the exhaust and the K&N Air Filters.

Exhaust might give you 1hp (they put it on a dyno to test), but it is primarily for the sound. And it sounded so good I ordered one yesterday and can't wait to get it in.

The airfilter is wierd. Apparently the Trionic computer adjusts for the airfilter when you install it so they said not to expect a huge performance gain from the K&N filter.
