This is the second perfect car I've owned in 30 years. Admittedly, she doesn't get washed as often as when I got her 10-89 (the day of the big California earthquake), and the seats and headliner show a little wear, but:

She's damned near mechanically perfect;
She fits me like a glove;
She does 99% of everything I need with 100% satisfaction;
She runs like a scalded cat;
I have driven a thousand miles in a day, gotten out and laughed out loud with joy at the drive;
She's easy to maintain and to modify;
She's the safest fast car of her size;
You can converse without shouting with the sunroof open - - at 100 mph;
She's great in the snow and a wildcat in the mountains.

And best of all: she's a true Stealth car: there's not a braggart's badge anywhere on her, no "turbo" badge or other "I spent extra for a really fast car" attention-getter, so I can actually enjoy the road without attracting undesired attention from every good officer I pass. If they don't know what it is, I ain't gonna tell 'em. Of course, if they hear me coming under boost, it's all over.

Hell, my wife has cause to be jealous!

How much do I love my car?? Too much for any inanimate object. Too much for reason. I'd like a 97 Aero some day (kids do keep growing), but this one's not for sale.

The bikers are right: If they have to ask, they wouldn't understand.
