That loves a car so much.
I do the same thing, just stand outside and look at it with a huge smile on my face.
Another thing thats kinda funny, people, that say anything bad about my car, are automaticaly on the top of my shit list. If someone I truley don't like says something good about my car, they are all of a sudden redeemed in my eyes. :)
Another funny thing: I feel so safe in my SPG, it's such a great feeling, at work I drive a company truck, a '93 Chevy work truck with a 350, it has 170K and is already in it's way out, though I have nothing against domestic vehicles (the rest of my family has Chevy's &GMC's) I just don't feel as safe in that truck, or many other vehicles for that matter.
My mother wants a new car, not brand new, something 1-3 years old, but nice with low miles, I keep telling her to get a SAAB, you'll never go back!
Also, I love how people look at me as a drive by. I live in a very small town, each night, I take a 30 minute slow ride through &around town, moonroof &windows open, seats tilted back, system up, going slow, then when I see people I give it some gas, just enough so they can here the Turbo whine as I go by.
I let someone else drive her once, as I stood on the side of the road, it was too me truley a magnificent sight to see her coming up, it was in the eearly eveningh,low to the ground, bright lights, the turbo noise, it lookeds so stealthy to me. What a nice, fast little car.
I truley love Saabs, and my love isn't just limited to SPG's either. I also have an '87 900, a very strong running car with 146K, not in as good of shape as my SPG, but its my work car (I travel on a dirt road to work) and it serves it purpose.
I love all saabs and love it how with saab owners, it like a brotherhood type of thing, (or sisterhood) :) you see another saab coming down the road, and you wave, even if you dont know the person (at least I do) lol.
As you can see, Saabs are my obsession. :)
