I'm not sure how many of you are MAzda rotary fans, but her goes anyway.
I loved the part at the beginning where the camera runs at high speed through the drivetrain of the RX-7.
First, it starts at the driver's hand, then it proceeds through the gear lever, into the transmission, through the back of the motor, into a rotor (whilst in a combustion cycle and it even shows the rotor and an apex seal!), out the exhaust valve, into the turbocharger, out into the exhaust, through the cat., and out the tip in a nice flame. I was so cool!
I would say that a serious motor head was responsible for at least part of this movie. Granted, I think that the sound track leaves some to be desired (too much rap), but the Limp Bizkit song makes most of it worthwhile. Especially when they get that '69 Charger to stand on it's hind legs.
All in all (except for the opening race seen) it was a great car movie. Worlds better than Driven.
Cheers,
Brian.
